Class Outline and Descriptions

 

•  CWP in  South Carolina

This Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.  The students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities.  The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the students for participation in other NRA courses.  This Course will involve training and assistance to provide the necessary information and abilities to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit in South Carolina, as according to the laws of the appropriate state authorities.

 

• Gun Safety Classes for Everyone

This Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for  the safe handling, operation, and storing of firearms and ammunition.  The Course will have include basic safety information appropriate for all ages.

 

• Basic Pistol Shooting Lessons

This Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely.  The students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the students for participation in other NRA courses..

 

• NRA Child Safety: Eddie Eagle

The Eagle Eddie Gun Safe® Program teaches children in pre-K through third grade four important steps to take if they find a gun. These steps are presented by the program’s mascot, Eddie Eagle®, in an easy-to-remember format consisting of the following simple rules:  If you see a gun: STOP!, Don’t Touch, Leave the Area, and Tell an Adult.
